Mehruba Reza has a banking experience of more than 12 years plus. She started her career with HSBC in 2008 as customer service officer, later worked as Relationship Officer NRB Services. After that in 2013 joined Standard Chartered bank as Senior Relationship Manager Priority Banking and later was promoted to Associate Director Role within a short span of time was moved to the role of Senior Product Manager, Islamic Banking. In 2016 joined BRAC bank as Senior Product Manager Women Banking Segment TARA and launched the entire proposition across Retail and SME segment from scratch. TARA is a comprehensive Women Banking Solution that caters to banking needs as well as networking and capacity development activities for Women. This segment worked as role model for the country and followed its launch 5 major banks launched this proposition across their banks for women customers. TARA has won 4 international awards across different categories and this segment has now dedicated savings, loan and card products. It also has training facilities with National University of the country on Entrepreneurship Development.
