As part of the Alliance’s efforts to forge collaborations between fintechs and incumbents and drive proof-of-concept opportunities, the Alliance Hack organized meetups between the Hack teams and supporting Alliance member banks, including NDB Bank Sri Lanka, BRAC Bank Bangladesh, FCMB Nigeria, G&T Continental Guatemala and Davivienda Colombia, as well as some non-members in India: AAvas Financiers, Avanti and Federal Bank India.


Adnaan Jamilee

Head of E-commerce and ICT Financing, SME Banking, BRAC Bank

Adnaan Jamilee is a financial services professional working as Head of E-commerce and ICT Financing of BRAC Bank, Bangladesh; a Certified Blockchain Expert from Blockchain Council, USA; Certified Expert in Credit Management (CECM) from Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management, Dhaka and an MBA from IBA, University of Dhaka. He holds 11 years of professional experiences in commercial banks and non-banking financial institution (NBFI) in Bangladesh majorly in the spheres of corporate relationship banking, credit risk management and SME Banking. Being in banking career, Adnaan has worked in a number of ends like commercial banking,  corporate relationship management, trade services, credit risk management, product development, collection, decentralized branch banking and SME finance. Significant portion of his experience consists of managing medium segment and corporate clientele portfolio and finding avenues for extending lending capabilities of the organization. Also, his work area includes SME products development, external stakeholder relationship management, cost optimization projects, women banking solutions and alternate channel development.  

Adnaan is experienced in underwriting credit proposals, financial modelling, project viability analysis, debt structuring, facility re-scheduling, repayment monitoring, early alert/warning, rationalized input templates (RIT), Integrated Supervision System (ISS) reporting and loan documentations.

Ms. Afshana C A is a chartered accountant by qualification and a seasoned banker. She has been working with Federal Bank for 11 years and is currently holding the position of Deputy Vice President and heading the Regional Credit Hub in Bangalore. 

Babajide Asegbeloyin

Team Lead, Techspace Ecosystem Business, FCMB

Babajide is currently the Head/Team Lead, Techspace Ecosystem Business at First City Monument Bank Limited Nigeria, where his role involves growing and curating the most diverse community in the tech ecosystem and creating impactful partnerships with various organizations and stakeholders in the Nigerian and African technology ecosystem. 

He drives the Bank’s engagement with Tech start-ups, Incubators, Accelerators, Tech Media Companies, Angel Investors, Innovation Labs, Venture Capitalist, Government Agencies etc. He is also pivotal in the creation and drives the Bank’s Tech Hub- Hub One, by executing the Bank’s strategic objectives for the Hub. Hub one is a tech themed co-working space set up to develop the innovation and Tech start-ups ecosystem in Nigeria. 

He has a Master’s in Diplomacy and Strategic Studies and a Degree in History and Strategic studies. He is very passionate about the Technology and innovation ecosystem in Nigeria and Africa.  He believes technology is a transformational tool for youth empowerment in Africa.

Dennis Ezaga

Head, SME & Business Banking Digital Innovations, FCMB

Dennis has over 24 years of demonstrated career success in banking encompassing experience in Product propositions, Sales, Remittances and Banking Operations. As Head of Digital Innovation in the Business Banking Group at First City Monument Bank Limited, Dennis is responsible for initiating and driving digitalization of liability and asset propositions across customer sectors with focus on growing customer acquisition, adoption, transacting base and revenue whilst prospecting for and partnering with value adding tech companies and ecosystems within value chains to create and enhance customer experiences in delivered solutions and platforms.

Dennis is a certified ISO lead auditor in quality management systems and a fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Finance and Control of Nigeria and the Institute of credit administration of Nigeria. He is a futurist and thought leader in innovation.  His interests include Consumer Behaviour and biotech applications in Artificial Intelligence.

Maria Lucrecia Monge

María Lucrecia Monge is the Commercial Director for the Business Women Program at Banco G&T Continental. She is responsible for the design, implementation and roll out of a holistic program, for Women Led SME’s in Guatemala.

María Lucrecia has previously held several demand planning, project coordination and sales related positions. Since 2015 she actively participates as teacher assistant and professor for businesses, entrepreneurship and marketing courses at Universidad Francisco Marroquín.

She is passionate about entrepreneurship and business as the engine of the local economy, a marketing enthusiast, an avid reader and life-long learner.

She earned an MBA with an entrepreneurship concentration and holds a Bachelor’s of science degree in Business with a marketing concentration, both from Universidad Francisco Marroquín.

Mehruba Reza

Head of Women Banking Segment TARA, BRAC Bank

Mehruba Reza has a banking experience of more than 12 years plus. She started her career with HSBC in 2008 as customer service officer, later worked as Relationship Officer NRB Services. After that in 2013 joined Standard Chartered bank as Senior Relationship Manager Priority Banking and later was promoted to Associate Director Role within a short span of time was moved to the role of Senior Product Manager, Islamic Banking. In 2016 joined BRAC bank as Senior Product Manager Women Banking Segment TARA and launched the entire proposition across Retail and SME segment from scratch. TARA is a comprehensive Women Banking Solution that caters to banking needs as well as networking and capacity development activities for Women. This segment worked as role model for the country and followed its launch 5 major banks launched this proposition across their banks for women customers. TARA has won 4 international awards across different categories and this segment has now dedicated savings, loan and card products. It also has training facilities with National University of the country on Entrepreneurship Development. Experienced in Branch Banking, Product Development and Segment Development with proven record during the banking career, is a seasoned banker with an exposure to many departments of Banking. Besides leading the women segment, the student banking portfolio is also governed by her. Under the Student banking, service, business along with product development all strategic decision making is taken into consideration by this role.

Besides being a Banker, previously had an experience of school teacher while being a University student for 5 years teaching Mathematics and History for kindergarten students. Also worked in various researches oriented works for companies such as BATB, Unilever and Grameen Phone through agencies. She is extremely fond of travelling and cooking and enjoys her most of the time spending with children.


S M Ishtiaque

S M Ishtiaque is a financial services professional working as Head of Digital Loan Underwriting of BRAC Bank, Bangladesh. He holds 8 years of professional experiences in commercial banks and non-banking financial institution (NBFI) in Bangladesh majorly in the spheres of SME banking, credit risk management, and digital lending. He has experience in various transformative initiatives such as implementing Mobile App and Tab based LOS for Sales executives, DMS, Loan Scorecard, Performance Evaluation System, SME Priority Customer Segmentation Model, Credit Process Reengineering, Loan Documentation Simplification, System Generated Documents, Mercer Position Evaluation (PE) Framework etc. He also worked extensively in designing Micro Business Model and 500 sft Mini Branch Model. In addition, he has experience in strategic planning, product management, and business finance. He also has capacity to develop credit scoring model using logistic regression and he successfully implemented two credit scoring model in two different organizations; one is for credit card and the other is for SME Financing.  

Before joining BRAC Bank, Ishtiaque was playing the role of Head of Business Transformation in SME Division at IDLC Finance Limited. He completed his graduation and post-graduation from Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka. He is highly fond of traveling and exploring new places. In addition, he spends time on self-development by reading various relevant articles and by engaging in various online courses.

Yetunde Moito

Head, Women in Business (Sheventures), FCMB

Yetunde has 17 years experience in banking, spanning Corporate and Investment Banking, Private Banking, Retail and SME segments. She’s functioned as a business development and product manager over this period. Yetunde currently heads SHEVENTURES, the women in business segment in FCMB, where she develops and drives the financial and non-financial CVP for the women’s market. 

She has an MBA Management from the University of Wales, United Kingdom and is an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management and Chartered Institute of Bankers. Her interest lies in women empowerment advocacy through financial inclusion and capacity building.
